        Best Areas
Bank – lagoon, shallow bay, gravel bar, dam, boat bay, brookside
Boat – west arm, gravel bar, dam, boat bay

        Best Patterns
Small damsel, grhe, black booby, pitsford pea, red cruncher, uv cruncher

Plenty of cloud cover saw Elinor back on excellent form with a good list of specimen fish and a rod average of just over 4.
Fish continue to be well spread with most anglers getting action.
Floater with washing line is working well in shallower water. Floater with a mini lure and nymph combination best on windy days or over deeper water.
Middle of the day generally best.

Pike fishing finished on Sunday. Best fish of the weekend was a 16lb 15oz specimen caught by Daniel Brackley.

Last day for trout fishing is Sunday December 31st although season ticket holders can bank fish in January.
2018 season starts on Saturday February 10th.

A fishing ticket voucher makes a great Christmas gift.
