Elinor opens for the 2016 season on Saturday February 13th at 7am for both season and day ticket anglers.
Permits will be on sale from 6.30am.
There has been a preseason stocking of 2070 rainbows to supplement a good head of overwintered fish.
All ticket prices remain the same as 2015.
For the first couple of weeks bank fishing is usually better than from boats. Try a floater or intermediate line with a slow retrieve of white/green or black/green lures, apps worms, squirmy worms, orange or sunburst blobs.
Most successful nymphs early season are grhe, small damsel, black buzzer.

Elinor will be hosting the final of the Iain Barr/Airflo Bank Masters Final on Sunday April 17th with a first prize of £2000 and many other prizes.
Qualifying heats at Elinor will be on March 13th and April 2nd.
