Not so many anglers visited during the hot and humid weather last week.
The fishing was predictably tricky but above average for the end of July. Fish continue to be taken on or near the surface.
Generally it has been best to fish at the top of the wind where the water is algae free.
Damsels continue to be the major food source. Numerous good quality fish between 2.5 and 3.5lb are being taken.
