A cooler week with plenty of rain and cloud cover helped the rod average push over 3, well above normal for July.
Plenty of fish on the surface taking damsels during the day and a good hatch of small sedges in the evening.
Bank anglers are advised to bring waders to combat the weed beds around the margins but are enjoying good sport on dries at the far end of the lake.
Boat anglers continue to do best on a washing line set up near the surface or buzzers and lures fished deeper down the middle.
