        9 browns over 3lb

        Best Fish
12lb 14oz Paul Mortimer, Thrapston, black uv tadpole
        10lb 2oz Alan Rennocks, Kettering, black/red blob

        Best Areas
Bank – all areas producing fish
Boat – east arm, brookside bay, dam

        Best Patterns
black/green lures, black cruncher, bloodworm, black buzzer

A big improvement in the fishing with trout being caught from all areas of the lake. The water clarity is gradually improving and more fish are now being caught on smaller patterns.
Bank fishing continues to be more productive than boat.
A few fish are rising on calmer days but the majority of anglers are catching 3-5ft down.
Spooned fish have been feeding heavily on black buzzers along with a few immature damsels.
