Since Friday 26th the fishing has been much more consistent with most anglers catching.
Afternoons still seem to be best providing there is a slight increase in temperature.
From the bank a floating line with a weighted fly is working best.
Boat anglers are starting to catch although not as many as bank anglers. Chris Redhead from Whittlesey has bucked the trend and had 5 boat trips already this season. He has taken bags of 5, 8, 6, 7 and 18 fish using an intermediate with white/green lures.
