        Feb 27th – March 5th

        121 anglers caught 573 fish of which 425 were returned.

        Best Fish
        Rainbow
        7lb 0oz Roger Goodliffe, Spalding, white/green lure
        6lb 4oz Dave Sparrow, Aldwincle, white minkie, boat
        Brown
        8lb 5oz Zydennas Vaicius, Peterborough
        8lb 4oz Mr Wadsworth, Daventry, cats whisker, boat
        7lb 3oz Mr Marshall, Rushden, pitsford pea, boat

        Best Areas
        Bank – dam, boat bay, brookside, shallow bay, lagoon
        Boat – dam end, gravel bar, west arm

        Best Patterns
        small black/green or white/green lures, damsel, orange or sunburst blob, candy fab, black buzzer, black diawl bach, bloodworm, grhe.

        Another windy week but a good 4.7 rod average. On most days the afternoon fished much better than mornings, especially for bank anglers.
        Boat anglers have had unusually good sport for early March using nymphs fished deep and slow.
        Water clarity remains excellent so bright, windy conditions have kept the fish further from the bank.
        Fish are well spread with only the coarse bank and east arm not holding good numbers of fish.
