Elinor had been fishing well until heavy rain on Nov 4th and 5th coloured the water badly. Very few fish were caught in the next four days.
Water level and visibility is improving quickly. This weekends fishing was very good with five anglers on Sunday landing 10+ fish.
Best method has been a floater with a weighted lure on the point and a red diawl bach on the dropper with a steady figure of eight retrieve. Most fish being caught 2 to 4 foot down, many very close to the bank.
With the water clearing by the day smaller flies should start to score again with buzzers back on the menu.
