        November 13th – 19th

        125 anglers caught 319 fish of which 196 were returned.

        Best Fish
        13lb 9oz Toby Craig, Milton Keynes, tequila fab, boat
        7lb 3oz Derek Benamore, Finedon, white/green lure
        6lb 5oz Roy Jeyes, Kettering, white/green minkie, boat
        5lb 8oz Toby Craig, Milton Keynes, tequila fab, boat
        5lb 4oz Darren Oram, Aldwincle, black snake
        5lb 1oz Trevor Maycock, Northampton, muddler

        Best Areas
        Bank – gravel bar, shallow bay, dam, brookside
        Boat – dam end, boat bay, gravel bar

        Best Patterns
        White/green or black/green lures, small damsel, grhe, black buzzer, black hopper, tequila blob/fab, snakes

        A slightly trickier week with the fish easily spooked when the sun was out in the incredibly clear water.
        Fishing can be slow early morning but usually improves 11.30am onwards with fish moving in calmer conditions.
        Plenty of areas are producing with the fish not tightly shoaled yet.

        Pike anglers fished at the weekend. Quite a few jacks were caught along with four low doubles and perch to just under 2lb.

        Elinor is open until December 31st for trout anglers.
        Season permit holders only from the bank in January.
        Opening day for 2018 is Saturday February 10th.

        Half day permits are now available:
        7am – 2pm
        Or
        Midday until dark

        Brown trout are now out of season. Please return quickly and carefully.
