The water is gin clear with dries, nymphs and lures catching.
On cloudy days the bank is fishing as well as the boats although boat anglers still doing better in brighter conditions. Over the last couple of days the best method has been a floater with a foam daddy, booby hopper or pink booby on the point with cruncher and diawl bach on the dropper.
A large number of fish around the 3lb mark continue to be caught.
Prospects are excellent with further stockings this week.
The brown trout season ended on October 29th. Any browns caught should now be carefully returned.
With the clocks having gone back evening tickets now start at Midday.
The Dave Hughes Memorial Fur & Feather will be held on Sunday November 9th.
Boat and bank fishing entries are welcome with proceeds from the raffle to be donated to the British Heart Foundation and Warks/Northants Air Ambulance.
Entry fee is £25.00 per person for both boat and bank anglers (£5.00 for season ticket holders).
The match is fished 9am – 3pm to a 6 fish limit with a 2lb/hour time bonus.
Tackle/Organic meat prizes for top 10 anglers.
