Best Areas
Bank – dam, brookside, boat bay
Boat – most areas producing fish although lodge end best
Best Patterns
Black hopper, wet daddy, black buzzer, red apps, red diawl, Montana, tequila booby.
Another good weeks fishing where the rod average beat 4. The dam end is holding large numbers of fish although good quality trout are coming from all areas.
In calmer conditions there are plenty of fish rising to the decent hatches of buzzers. On windy days fish are being taken 1 to 4 foot down with fish feeding on daphnia, corixa and buzzer pupae.
If the sun is out then boat anglers are doing best. On the many cloudy days last week the bank sport was as good if not better than boat.
The fish are in excellent condition and a good proportion are 3lb+.
