A busier week with a good rod average from the boats. Bank fishing remains difficult although improving. On Saturday, Robert Lenton of Milton Malsor used his long casting skills to catch 18 fish from the bank.
The last couple of days has seen enough breeze to get some daddies onto the water. A few fish are starting to take them. The grass around Elinor is full of daddies and it should be an exciting couple of weeks as more and more fish get used to an easy meal.
Washing line is still the best method with red diawl, red cruncher or grhe on the droppers.
The Dave Hughes Memorial Fur & Feather will be held on Sunday November 9th..
Boat and bank fishing entries are welcome with proceeds from the raffle to be donated to the British Heart Foundation and Warks/Northants Air Ambulance.
