Good surface sport continues at Elinor. Only a few daddies have made it onto the water yet but immitations are doing well.
Water level has risen in the last two weeks but clarity is still excellent and weed growth is not a problem over the majority of the lake.
Bank fishing is good but most of the larger fish have fallen to boat anglers. Specimens will be feeding well now the water is cooling down so prospects look good for the back end of the season.

Hopefully the recent wet weather will lead to a bonanza daddy hatch in the next few weeks.

Between bookside bay and East arm is still the best area for bank and boat anglers with fish moving on the surface throughout the day and evening.
However the last few days of North winds has seen a few anglers trying the dam and lodge bank and they have caught a few fish quality fish which have not seen any fishing pressure for over a month.
The cooler temperatures should see the fish become more widely distributed.
Fish spooned during the day have been feeding on damsels and daphnia. In the evening its buzzers and sedge pupae on the menu.
Water clarity is still excellent and weed cutting will be continuing although nearly all of the banks are fishable.
