8lb 8oz George Brock, Corby, damsel
8lb 5oz David Jennings, Cambridge, dry damsel, boat

6lb 0oz Mark Postles, Bedford, buzzer, boat
Best Areas
Bank – brookside, dam
Boat – all areas fishing well
Best Patterns
damsel nymph, dry damsel, black buzzer, red or green diawl bach, orange blob
The warmer weather has got the damsels hatching in huge numbers with both nymph and adult imitations working. Anglers are also catching well on black buzzers in size 12 or 14. Bank fishing is still good but if the hot weather continues then the boats will have a big advantage.
