Boats are still taking the best catches but bank anglers did ok when the cooler cloudier weather arrived. Buzzers are still taking the big bags but the fish are noticeably higher in the water now with plenty of fish rising on less windy days all over the lake.
The evening rise from 9pm onwards has been spectacular but the fish have been tricky to tempt while gorging themselves on tiny olive hatching buzzers.
Lots of fish in the 2lb 8oz to 3lb 8oz range being caught that are fighting very hard.
