Elinor is on top form with a large number of 4lb+ fish being caught, especially to bank anglers.
On windy days lures have taken good bags but on calmer days, small nymphs and dries have worked better in the incredibly clear water.
Decent hatches of small black buzzers on most days. Size 14 and 16 have been the best to use.
Nearly all fish have been caught in the top 2 foot.
Bank fishing is more productive than boats apart from on flat calm days when the fish have moved out further.
Elinor is open for boat and bank fishing until December 31st.

Dave Hughes Memorial Fur & Feather Nov 7th
A cold morning with a few showers greeted anglers on arrival. However conditions improved and Elinor fished its socks off!

8 out of the top 10 anglers were on the bank.
        1. Brad Gifford, Kettering, 17lb 6oz (apps bloodworm, sunburst blob, east arm)
        2. Trevor Watts, Aldwincle, 16lb 1oz
        3. Ashley Cooper, Market Harborough, 16lb 0oz
        4. Vince Sparrow, Aldwincle, 15lb 0oz
        5. Geoff Alsop, Tamworth, 14lb 6oz
