Last week was very good for boat anglers and even the bank anglers had decent sport especially on dry fly if they were prepared to walk to the far end of the lake.
This weeks hot weather will undoubtedly slow things down although there will still be fish feeding near the surface on damsel nymphs and adult damsels.
With water temperatures rising anglers are requested to be extra careful when releasing fish.
