Another steady week with a rod average of just under 2.5 although many anglers only fished for a few hours in between heavy rain storms.
Water clarity continues to improve and the autumnal temperatures should ensure Elinor switches on very soon with more bigger fish being taken.
On warmer days there are still a few damsels hatching. Otherwise the fish are surface feeding on small black buzzers and sedges. The warm damp conditions should see daddies hatching earlier this season.
Fish are being caught from most areas now.
Don’t forget that boats are half price for the whole of September.
