          Does anyone know the festival at Evesham will still go ahead this year?

              I’ve only got back online today after a terrible week for people in Evesham.
              The river is currently about 15 inches on and dropping and I fully expect next weeks matches to be on… The only problem right now is that the match length has taken a real battering and many of the pegs are either covered in silt and debris or have trees/branches over them. We’re going to pull out all the stops this week to get the length fishable again as Evesham needs to get back t normal again asap.
              The festival WILL be ON!!

                Thanks Dave ,makes a change getting a sensible answer on here nowdays ,it’s no wonder hardly anyone posts anymore.
