TF_rb211Is it me or what but is the Tented Village at the Festival getting Worse every Year they just to seem to sell a load of crap rubbish great for the Eastern Europeans which this year seem to be buying a lot of it but nothing for the Match Angler what’s the reason why they can not get the Main Tackle Dealers like Sensas , Maver Diawa etc there anymore plus £7 to Park that’s a bit of a rip off glad I Parked at Hampton Ferry for £2 and spent the other fiver on a pint.

TF_wiggley wormThe tackle village hasn’t been any good for the last ten years £2 to park at the ferry and that was cheaper than last year at least someone is thinking of the anglers and spectators not there pockets

TF_rjaysGots to agree the tented village was garbage…seemed to be nearly every stall was selling rubbish (rubbish aint a strong enough description) rods with what looked like 10lb test curve and reels for a fiver….nobody sold ANY decent line or something other than Kamasan hooks and unless you suscribed to the magazines you couldn’t even get groundbait…if you can’t buy these basic items here then I’m afraid its good night !!…think about it….why would Daiwa,Drennan,Sensas,Shimano etc want their goods at a stall next to this crap….the answer is to concentrate on the big boys ….and dump this rubbish…for gods sake.

TF_joffmiesterit’s real shame this has happened to you i don’t tend to buy off these stalls yet i couldn’t imagine Evesham without the tackle village .i found plenty of interesting stalls chatted about baits Dave harrells stall was nice i think you have to pick and choose.Remember the days of real bargains are over.Cheap tackle is cheap for one reason its rubbish

TF_James wilsonPersonally i thought it was pretty good.
Frennze stand was good. Shakespeare tent had some nice rods in. Vale angling. Cats and dogs baits was there. Paul law was selling loads of nick gilbert floats. There was stalls for the women and kids. Nash had a load of carp gear there. Avanti was the only real rubbish stand but they flog cheap gear.
Old ghost was showing of all there stuff and i learned alot from the lads.
bait box had a load of tackle out for everyone.personally i brought the frennze landing net handle and bait bucket. 2 shakespeare rods, old ghost groundbait and some pellets.
alot of hard work goes into this, it is what you make it.
for me the only thing that was wrong was the £7 parking.
