Skretting. Most of the importance lies in the preparation.

Pumped Skreeting’s with a flavour/colour in the water are all I use.

The Skettering 4 mm expanders cost 90p a kilo if you buy a 15kg bag.
Make sure you have a good pellet pump like a Vac-U-Vin and dont spare the water.
Do them on the bank in about 15 minutes.
I have not met a fish that does not like em.
I jelly mine for the hook and they really stay on.
The 6mm are great for shallow wag fishing.
Go to http://www.gjwtitmuss.co.uk they sell in bulk.

                  Ok Rattie..
Put a pint of warm..not hot water in a jug.
Use the Gelatine powder in a sachet from Tesco,s. there is five in a box.
Sprinkle the contents of one sachet into the warm water and stir it until it has been disssolved completely.
Put three quarters of a pint of expander pellets in the pellet pump and pour the jelly water in.
put the lid on and give it a good pump.
Keep turning the pump over to ensure all the liquid is absorbed.
After half an hour put the whole thing in the fridge for an hour and then let the air in after it has been removed.
Thats it.. Bag em up and put them in the freezer.
These will stay on a 16s hook well enough to fish on a waggler or ledgered.
                  I use a 1.5 litre pellet pump.
                  Adjust quantities for your pump.
I will send you some I have already prepared in the post if you e-mail me your addy.
                  Good luck. Jim.

Just one thing, are you putting the pump in fridge after pumping or after letting air out?
                      thanks

                              Rattie.
Sorry for the delay in my reply.
My computers at work, so I dont post at weekend.
Anyway..I hope you have had some success..already.
                              Oh !! Your Question..
Leave it in the vacuum when you fridge it. I cant explode or anything as its a contractive force and not a expanding one.
It also allows the juices to get further into the pellet.
Good Luck..let me know how you get on. Manc.
