Has anyone fished at this venue recently !! never seen the place myself,but any info would be greatly received..usual bumpf,baits,methods any recent match results..cheers lads.

we fished our summer league on there last sunday not the best conditions sunny no wind and a full moon so it was tricky 4,5 and 6 lakes we fished but five is the best 43lb won the match and 32lb was needed to make the top six the winner was on 5 fishing method to the island as it has a 16metre limit on poles dead maggot 38lb second came from lake 5 again all carp 3rd 36lb half skimmers half carp it is a mixed fishery so the number of carp are less than a commercial but saying that 7o to 8olb is possable on the right day the best bait on the day was chopped worm most court skimmers as well as a odd carp iether end of the lake are the best pegs when i say that ends of the island in the middle we are back there on 9th sept

matey are you fishing a match because if your are its double booked as the summerleague that i’m in have booked 4,5 and 6 for the match you might be on 7 matey

Yo lads…when I joined my club,we were given a list of matches,and as far as I know this date and Lake has been confirmed,I will be see’ing the match secretary tomorrow,get back on this one over the weekend..!!maybe it is lake 7 could be a miss print on the sheet…ouh errr

Joffmiester…spoke to our club match secretary,he rang Eye Kettleby,and they confirmed that we are booked to fish Lake 5,so maybe its your match that has been double booked,thanks for the info,cheers.

renarc all sorted it was double booked and we are now on lake 4 and lake 7 so have a good day matey and hope to meet up 5 is the best lake
