which lake are you on ?
if it’s the race track mostly fish meal paste or pellets,same on the speciman lake and mags caster/corn ect for the ‘z’ lake.pole on the track and z same on the speccy lake or a small method feeder.hope this helps a little.

i would use paste on both ,i hold both the match records on each lake, both come off paste
on the main lake you could try two lines one at 6mtr and the other at 12mt with the 12mt one ball it in with fish meal and balls of sticky pellet, on the 6mt line just use pellet you will need a strong rig ie;
6 hook to 0.20 line and i would also use the same rig on the race track ,just in case the cat’s want to play.

Thanks for the advice, it’s a winter league I’m fishing that’s on all the lakes.Could you give me an idea what depths and which elastics I should use?

you will only win it with carp and the carp average 4-6lb, but its 5-6ft deep so red hydro or a good 16
method feeder to the island could win it too so 6lbline
and hair rig corn or 10mm pellet
