Was pellets when I used to fish this regulary but a lot seem to favour hemp now. Used to cup some pellets in short of where your fishing then either just use the paste on your hook as the feed ie give it 5 mins then strike it off if nothings happening or catapult or throw pellets in regular.
Now they seem to put a fair bit of hemp in and fish over it or past it usually feeding regular through a kinder pot.
Lately I have started fishing it again but with the marukyu 1mm micros as feed and have caught quite a lot using them.

the real plus with using hemp is you can see when fish move over it as it gives the oils off when they do

Wont the hemp just attract too many silvers though, or is that part of the point?

easy – 2 paste pots on your pole.

One for the paste with the hook in. one for the paste without the hook in.
