        Its warming up from staurday in the midlands. From next week forecast between 7 and 9 deg

        might venture this Sunday ice might be a little easier to break

                        Not at the moment Neil.

                        Models suggest a milder interlude (but quite windy) at the end of Jan, then a cold February start to follow.

                        The river season will be over before we know it, always seems to fly after Christmas & New Year.

                          Although the thaw has started it still feels cold in the damp.
