        Hi all, myself and the missus are looking to have a few days break away from the kids and have decided to combine it with a bit of fishing. looking for a log cabin like holiday with plenty of silver fish, we are based in northants, Devon/Cornwall would be to far to travel. Any suggestions

          Chequer tree fishery down here in sunny kent has fantastic silver fishing,skimmers roach,tench etc.Not log cabins but nice clean chalet type and you are not too far from coast and some other nice attractions too.About hour and half from you.

            westwood lakes in boston are really good four lakes two with islands two without all stocked with silvers carp and good sized barbel.Some of the log cabins have hot tubs.
