TF_Serious SamLoved the first two but where did the idea for the match come from ~think
Everyone knows the match guys always stuff the carp guys and it’s embarrasing all round – would mucg rather have seen another method covered like the first two show.

wendylythgoeHi Sam,
Without giving too much away maybe you should watch it tonight…..the carp guys didn’t lay down and take it on the second day!! Lessons learnt and all that…..it ended pretty interesting, well as an observer it did!

TF_geepsterParticipantI have to say fair play to Korda for getting away with a TV series branded as Gurus with the Guru anglers.

Also the presenter is a class 1 BABE~clapShe is a lovely girl, she also had the pleasure of meeting me a few years ago fishing a big team match on the Forty Foot drain, I think she was a little overwhelmed though, cos she hardly spoke to me ha ha.
I thoroughly enjoyed tonight’s “match” Steve, and I agree, the zig rig is a killer tactic, me and Daniel recently fished Barfords fantastic new Carp venue, a brilliant lake about 8 acres in size, we had a 24 hour ticket and bivvied up , during the day we employed the zig, we found small white boilies worked best in the very clear water and bright sunshine, it was a good show and you showed the value of learning from the big fish boys.

Maybe you should have been at Earlswood on Saturday to see what carp tactics did to the match boys!!!!!

Hi Wendy,
Yup, I take it back the carp guys did well and it was amazingly close.
Poor Alex took a lot of stick ~clap
Hope the rest of the programmes go back to the format of the first two programs though, lots more to be covered such as pellet wag, fishing UITW, paste etc. that’s never been really seen on TV.
Best new fishing program for years.
