The new series is brilliant, Dean Macey is a fantastic host. In last nights episode Steve Ringer fished a match at Makins, he went into great detail explaining rigs, bait and feeding etc, Steve went on to walk the match with 169lb. He just makes every thing look so easy, and knows when to change tactics and feed different areas of his peg. The show is well worth watching and imo Sky really make a brilliant job of promoting match fishing, well done.
One thing I did notice was Steve’s quiver tip was virtually in the water while fishing the method, is there any reason for this ?
        Cheers.

Couldn’t agree more, fantastic tv. I hate all these ass kisser types who blow hot air up celebrity anglers backsides but you’ve really got to hand it to Steve Ringer, he stated prior to the draw that he was a tad nervous as he was putting his reputation on the line in a televised match against a dozen or so venue regulars and was on a hiding to nothing really as he was honest enough to admit he had drew quite well.

Not normally my cup of tea watching what was him catching mostly on the method before switching to pellet waggler but really enjoyed watching it. Well done Steve and Dean Macey. 🙂 🙂 🙂
