TF_Dr.PhilIf the draw is kind then Sean Huggins can do the business , not sure if Rob W and Sean will split the money if either takes the pot as they are travelling partners most times. So many good anglers in it ,always is !

TF_Smedhad a few lucky draws not long back and a few wins to go with em, also won golden peg as well, best thing is i took a quid of my mate who ALLWAYS beats me and takes mine, spent the quid on a lotto ticket which won me a tenner, put that tenner on spain to win world cup @ 7/2 lol so now got 45 quid, thinking of putting it on either Kieron Rich or Tom Pickering, cant decide lol

TF_red_anglerSave your money unless you are going to watch it, iv been to the last 2 finals & am a regular at cudmore, i wont be having a bet until iv walked around the lake on the morning, wind direction is a massive factor on this lake!!
Dont forget there wont be any end pegs this year because they are having blockers & i dont think the aereator will be on.
Happy betting.PS, My money’s on Keiron!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TF_andynorth2003ParticipantNeed some advice please boys.
Will be placing a bet on myself ready for this Saturdays final.
Are there any sites that offer genuine ‘matched’ bets for new account customers?
(ie I put £50 on and they also give me £50 bet on the same bet? or are they all free bets after the event, which isnt really much use to me?)Also, just seen I’ve gone up to 20/1, which I’m not unhappy about at all to be honest.
Are the odds likely to go up nearer the time, or should I place my bet on Betfred now at that price?Cheers, Andy

TF_TonyCurdHi Andy
I was at 20/1 last year at this point, it’ll differ once you have drawn, and change throughout the day, I’d get in now while the price is good if I were you!!
Good luck Saturday! -

Best of luck. The draw is huge in this event so every finalist IMO has a chance.

TF_respectI personally cant see past Neil Machin or Tommy Pickering both will be there or there abouts,an outside bet on Keiren rich as he is quite local to the venue and knows all the top rods that fish there week in week out,as does Neil though~shh.
My tuppence each has gone on Neil and Tommy ~shh

TF_Dr.PhilSean Huggy-bear or Wootonmeister for this one …..its only down to the draw and wind as all 16 are capable of doing the business.
Like to see the ambassador to angling U.K. take it also , go for it Tom. -
13/07/2010 at 7:08 pm #110250
TF_GUS EI would like to see Steve seaborne or Richie hoskins win it two top blokes, thinking about it I would prefer Richie to win then he can buy me six new wagglers to replace the ones he had of me three years ago.

TF_geepsterParticipantTake on board all the points about the draw and the wind, but at 12-1 I’m prepared to take 12-1 Kieran Rich with BetFred and hope he draws well (let’s be honset, he usually does!!! LOL).

TF_geepsterParticipantWhy not google it. Find out which bookies are offering odds on Fish O, and then Google ‘special offers for joining Bet365’ etc etc.
Usually there will be a promo code…. available online…. -

I reckon Machin and Pickering will get backed right down. -
16/07/2010 at 4:55 pm #110441
TF_Dr.PhilSpoke to Sean today and he believes that all the practice so far can get blown away by the change of weather …..dont know if you folks have the bad weather now ? …..its still 28 degrees plus over here today.
Could make long pole difficult so it could be all in with the feeder at the start.JUST HOPE ITS A SPECTACULAR …..MAKE A CHANGE TO SEE ALL ANGLERS GOING HEAD TO HEAD WITH THE WEIGHTS ……INSTEAD OF THE USUAL 2 OR 3 JUST LEADING THE BUNCH .
-
16/07/2010 at 6:05 pm #110451
TF_joffmiester~clap ~clap ~clap here here~clap ~clap ~clap ~clap
that would make the venue stick out
Brewster has spent thousands on the venue to make the perfect match venue! it would be nice that its remembered for that rather than a the end peg doe’s it again
to see this class of anglers battle it out too the last weigh in would be brilliant -
17/07/2010 at 7:57 am #110489
TF_geepsterParticipantAt least with ‘blockers’ on each end peg, the peg 16 bias might be lessened. If it’s a completely fair match, local knowledge would have to steer you towards Machin. But it won’t be completely fair because no match ever is.
