Andy Geldart with 19+kilo he fished a good match, but it was poor viewing imo

I tried to watch it with two guests who are not anglers and all they did is laugh at me. Strange how some sports translate to TV and others don’t. Take darts. In my opinion that’s brilliant on TV – fast moving and you can see exactly what’s going on. Fishing is slow moving and you can’t see what’s going on. It’s not even as if all anglers would ‘get’ match fishing on TV. I think in the main only match anglers would.

i went both days and loved the event
i did not watch it on tv but when its hard going its the same for everyone
The 2nd day was very good the speed from will shocked me that is someone on top of there game
well done all who make this day possible
