Hello everyone, when i get fishing it will be on an old estate lake for silvers ( roach, skimmers and perch).
My question is will using fluorocarbon on my hooklengths give me an edge.
I am thinking of using it in .10 and .08 dia.
What are the pro’s and cons please and what makes do you use and lastly is there a specific knot to use when using loop to loop.
        Thank you.

If you believe the current thinking, especially from those in and around the international scene then yes it will give you an edge in your fishing.
I experimented with fluorocarbon some 10 years ago, especially for bloodworm and joker fishing without any noticeable difference so I went back to using my usual line.
I suspect like most hings it is a confidence thing – if it gives you more confidence then it will work for you.
I never used any different knots and did not have any problems.
