if you have picked first goalscorer and a correct score bet am i right in thinking that own goals dont count~think

You are right as regards 1st goalscorer,but a correct score bet will “stand” as regards own goal….

skybet rules..as an example

All bets are settled in accordance with the Press Association’s decision and any subsequent changes will not count. The result given immediatley following the completion of the match will be deemed as official.
Every effort will be made to quote all the players taking part in the game but should a player not quoted score the goal, all bets will stand.
Bets taken on first goalscorers will be void if the player does not play or comes on after a goal has already been scored. Bets taken on last goalscorer will be void if the player does not take part in the match.
Own goals do not count.

Thanks bremes, the bet i,ve had is man u to win 3.2 and rooney first goal, so is my bet still live.combined bet.

Good question,tbh i dont know lol,judging by skybets rules it is,i would have thought~think,most of the big bookies normally have the same rules & regs,i have done the scorecast bet before & the OG has never occurred to me ~think,try googling scorecast rules~think

b) If a player comes on after a goal has been scored or does not take part in the game, bets involving that player will be settled as a single on the selected correct score at the appropriate odds. For first goalscorer purposes, own goals do not count. If the only goals in the match are own goals, all bets will be settled as singles on the selected correct score at the appropriate odds. If the match is abandoned after a goal has been scored all bets will be settled as singles on the selected first goalscorer at the appropriate odds.

c) Last goalscorer – correct score doubles are also accepted and will be settled at the odds advertised for first goalscorer – correct score doubles unless a separate price has been quoted for the last goalscorer.
