TF_toroon the fox msb box it comes with 3 draws as standard
x1 deep
x1 shallow
x1 winder tray
the question is on the shallow tidy tray can you revert it to a winder tray same as the standard one or is the tackle tidy inserts fixed
thanks -

ukrottiethe inserts are just 2 strips of fixed plastic to devide the tray. i use mine as a winder tray as the fox yellow 250 winders fit perfect.

TF_RhinoI sold my shallow dwr and bought some shallow trays and a lid to make a stax. Cant see the point of winders in a dwr – trays are lighter and much cheaper to buy as well (£35 as opposed to £65) – still, each to their own!

TF_april9092Participantget the msb it is a lot better than a riva and you will save money in the long run. Just look at the names who have brought one.

TF_DecaffPicking up my Euro MSB in the morning, tried to get on with the Rive but have finally given up!
As a mate said to me not long a go “do you remember when you threw your gear in the car & grabbed a couple of hours somewhere ? well you won’t be doing that when you own a Rive!”
He was bloody right!!!!

LUBODoes anybody know if the base section on an msb can be fitted to hang underneath the frame, and if i was to buy a lid for some spare trays can this be fixed into the box like the matchbox stax system or would they have to be carried seperately ?

TF_chaveyParticipantYes they can be ‘hung’ under the frame, my mate does it with his. but if you have a draw unit on top of the frame it catches the the frame so won’t open properly, unless you add a 30mm tray between the draw and the frame first. Its a very nice box

TF_DecaffUsed mine yesterday, well pleased.Very Stable, much lower than my Rive so i’m no longer sitting up in the clouds, side tray closer so’s don’t feel i’m stretching to reach bait, much lighter & just as comfortable to sit on! Need to sort the drawer units out as i just piled the gear from my Rive into it without much thought, then i think it could be Perfick!!

TF_SLABGoing slightly off topic.I bought the MSB pole support £30.When i tried to fit it to my box(Round legs Euro sliding foot plate)It does not not fit properly. Is their a wider one for the euro footplate.

ukrottiei had the same problem and with the mega side tray aswell. allthough not ideal i just filled the rubber inserts till they fitted.

TF_SLABThe fitting are tight on the legs. The actual bump bar is 40-50mm short of the other leg.I can get it on but its under stress. The picture on the bump bar box shows it fitting to the legs.I am going to take it back. The Preston On box bits fit a treat with the green inserts.

TF_DecaffThey do now make a universal side tray that fits the Euro without filing it out,my guess is they must make the bump bar as well, because as stated the Euro is slightly wider.
