Ron, I have been using it for months now and can’t fault it in build quality. The holdall only takes 6 tubes but for me this isn’t a problem as I tend to add and remove things depending on what I need for a session, I have mentioned to Bodge that I would like to see the ready rod sleeve supplied made as ridgid sleeves as I don’t like soft ones after damaging a couple of rods in them (Not the frenzee ones.)
One point that has been a great feature this winter is the keepnet stink bag. Its completely water proof, fits 2 keepnets and slots into the front of the carryall. Its very solidly made as well, one I did have from another company the plastic lining went brittle and ripped, the frenzee one won’t.

In all its great value and will suit you as long as your not the sort of person that takes every rod and pole you own with you every time you go out fishing.

Hi Nick – I have also posted Bodge re this but would appreciate your insight as well.

My current set up is too bulky and was pondering the Airity or Preston monster stuff butor the but the Frenzee may be a better bet if its big enough…plus its better value!

From the web site it says it takes 6 tubes – do you reckon it would stretch to 4 normal ones plus 2 fat (5″) ones (I use this for top kits) as that is what I tend to carry on commercials.
I take it the front, shorter, pocket is for umbrellas, landing net handles etc?
Have many quivers will it take and how many made up rods per quiver?

cheers, ps hopefully you should have my cheque for the rive knobs by now…

                  Hello Mate,

I don’t know about the 5″ tubes, as I only use standerd ones, I could get my Maver 401 in there with 4 power kits, and 15 match kits + spare 4’s and cupping kits not problem. I do have a couple of oval tubes that fit in there as well, the only thing that might stop you putting the bigger tubes in there is the pocket at the base of the holdall that the tubes slot into.
The pocket on the side is huge, I don’t carry an umbrella or any bank sticks so I have a couple of short tubes that I can put in there that hold unmade rods. And there’s still space to get a couple of net handles in.
You can get 2 of the ready rod sleaves clipped onto the rod holdall, that in most situations will cover your needs. Any more than that and your better off getting a 4 rod hardcase style ready rod sleave.

Your cheque hadn’t arrive yesterday, will find out later if it has turned up at home.
