TF_S.shallapots look interesting…
but from what i see its a shame you have too use there bushes too attach it too?? surely that will just allienate a massive part of a market everyone uses?? i.e who dont own a fox tosspot?? cad pot? but they dont need too change there bushes there already happy with too try a new one? unless im wrong? but then im sure the pot would slide too far down the top kit?also the luggage looks good quality(GTI) like in fact! ?
you’d think the prices would be cheaper though coming direct from the manufacturer/importer with no middle man(tackle shop)
i guess the shops havent embraced it?? and thats why the site shop has come about?
or im sure the shops wont be re ordering now it is!!! bit of an unusual one really the more i think about it??but very interesting!!!!!!

bodgeParticipantIm glad you find it interesting as thats exactly what we want to offer, something different. the pots were designed with 2 things in mind. accuracy and safety. as the pot fits on to the bush and not slid down the pole this gives you the most accurate feeding system possible and secondly because the pot is connected to the bush and not the carbon tip it doesnt weaken the tip like other pots may do. if you have ever pushed a pot on too far (i have). also when your playing a fish with a bend in the tip, the pot creates a flat spot where its attached to the pole. over time this will create problems and a weakness will appear. I actually spoke to someone who had a tip snap because of this on the weekend. this doesnt happen with ours as there is no contact with any carbon.
reg pricing and shops. why we have done this is to give people a chance to obtain the products if you cant find them locally. we sell everything at the correct price and the last thing we want to do is upset the shops by trying to undercut them, thats not what we are about. we would rather be in the shops than battling against them and they certainly havent shunned our products, things just take a little longer with todays current climate.
there are plenty of new things to come from us shortly with a net range and a full range of new rods as well as other little bits im working on. everything we bring out is for a purpose and not just for have a ‘same range’ as all the other manufacurers.
hope this helps

TF_FordyI saw the nets, rods and feeder prototypes 10 days ago and was very impressed.
As anyone who knows bodge will testify, he is a COMPLETE tackle tart. He’s been allowed to design his own range, which must be tart heaven.
Consequently he’s been very fussy.

TF_billy the squidParticipantGreat website, it all looks like well made gear, but i don’t get a kinder cup right on the tip of ur pole?? i know it’s to be accurate, but it must absolutely annihilate the poles action at long lengths!, just my opinion.

TF_piperpilotI might be a thicko here but the holdall is 6 tube with external rod sleeves. I’m in the market so would be interested in buying holdall & carryall. Made in England??,

TF_RhinoHi Andy – you should try flogging the luggage to Malc P, he’s being grumbling about his holdall!
The luggage looks good but some “blown out” i.e. opened up pics from different perspectives would be very helpful, especially as it seems these are not in the shops at present.I’m pondering the luggage as well; I like the idea of being able to add on the ready rod cases rather than the Mosella/ Preston Monster version where the rod carrying is built in so you are stuck with the large dimensions. I also like holdalls with large accessory pockets which this one appears to have.
Couple of questions – the spec says the holdall is supplied with 2 sleeves; from the pics it look like the holdall will take 3 sleeves – am I right? If so how much for an extra sleeve? Also can each sleeve take more than one rod (I accept this may mean picking up scratches!)?
Finally what are delivery times and costs, couldnt find these on the site though it could be me, its being a long day.
cheers, Chris

TF_clfletchThe gear looks good, with the exception of the poles. 950g @ 13m for a £2.5K pole? 1000g for £1500? Gotta be kidding.

bodgeParticipantRhino the rod holdall does come with 3 pockets for rod sleeves. if you do want another one either drop them (hq) an email when ordering or ring them direct and they will add it to your order. I think Im right in saying the rod sleeves on their own will be 14.99 each. all stock is kept in house and will be dispached probibly the same day but details of that are in the termps and conditions. Any problems or questions email me direct [email protected]
reg the poles. on paper they do appear heavy. granted they are not the lightest pole on the market but the way the pole had been designed the added weight also increases the balance which in my mind is far more important. there are key added features on the pole which will increase the weight slightly but also increase the overall performance ten fold. the double mesh weave we added to the butt sections to name just one. this gives an already super strong butt section a large 2 foot wrap where the elbow sits to make sure no weaknesses appear when constantly striking (no need for a dolly butt).
in my eyes this is the strongest flag ship pole on the market. ive had mine since august and as yet havent broken a single section (or even marked one)! ive put it some unbelievable situations and it just copes so well. ive had rollers bounce off it many times and quite honestly its shocked me. that said its still got plenty of finess for silvers as the balance is great and the tops have a very good recovery speed. can you tell i like mine!!
