              i bought one and it was ok up to 13m but i found it very weak and smashed the no4, 3 months later i spent the same money on a connoiseur g8 and absolutely loved it, a hell of a lot stronger, lighter and stiffer, there are less spares but if your looking for a pole for aroung a grand the g8 is the one, it is down to personal prefferences with poles but the g8 is a superb allrounder for that amount of money

                seand. i,ve got one as a spare for myG995.i,m impressedwith it considering the price . dont think its weak at all but then again only used it three times, last time when i broke me no.7 on 995. up to 14.5m its comparable with 995 but heavier but then again stronger than a 995. i looked at g8 daiwa and it didn,t feel strong at all, but then again i didn’t fish with one. everybody to there own i suppose. i now use one of the 796 no4’s instead of short no.4 on g995 cause they’re that strong.

                anyway i’m thinking of selling both g995 ang g796 to get a super g10. so if you or anyone interested let me know

                  Mart4666, Ive got a G796 but looking for one as spares as ive already crushed my 14m section and a No 4 (fell on them) What you looking to sell it for pal ??

                  Also looking for some power tops if anyone has any for sale.

                      big finn, lookin for about £650 mate, its been used 3 times is immaculate apart from one of the no.4s has been telescoped 8in. from male end. i lost 4 inches but use it with G995 instead of short 4. i was uing it with G995 AND MANAGED TO SIT ON IT. can’t be that femor thought ,i’m 22 st and it survived my arse LOL

                        ps. if your after kits for garbo’s take a look at match generic kits that come with premier legion i think, they retail for £49 quid? i payed £40 as bought 4. and are stronger and stiffer than power kits.good enough to use at 16m.
