How do chaps, long time no see, used to log on as Maver or was it maveraver cant remember.

Just a short post to ask you to keep an eye out at car boots etc for a load of fishing tackle, we had a break in here last night and all of our tackle has been nicked, in particular are two distinctive seat boxes, made by Brilo Box, both boxes are blue in colour, really want to get these back, ive had one for over twenty years and it’s still as good as the day i got it, lovely British engineering and Brilo dont make these boxes any more, also nicked were rods and poles by Daiwa, Maver, MAP, Preston, Fox, Shimano, reels etc, they even nicked my entire stock of feed and hook pellets (over 25kg) and ground baits, but did take the trouble to put an open bag of Braseem in the bin for me.

Rod holdalls were all Fox Match Elite (Green) three in total and a blue GTI Pole holdall, one Fox Match Elite holdall, with pole rollers (Boss Rock n roller) and a carp type bag, Fox Match Black net bag.

So if anyone should see a large quantity of tackle at a boot market etc, please let me and importantly the police know by phoning 101 and letting them know that you suspect the tackle is stolen, i will obviously be able to ID all of the gear nicked.

For info, im close to Worthing, West Sussex

Sorry to hear of it mate.
Got cleaned out twice years ago in a spell that amounted to 12 break ins in a year. (the mrs. refused to go back home and we had to move).
Hope you are insured, if you are dont make the mistake i did by shopping around four the best buys. If you do keep the receipts and a photo of all the tackle. Get all the replacements in one go from the same outlet. I didnt and lost half the value of what i spent just because i couldnt prove what i had.
Better still catch the low life who took your tackle and get it all back and let the police do their job.
          Best wishes,
          steve.
