The moat pool carp went truly on the feed for this Sunday open with 10 weights over the ton. Steve Clark won with a whopping 171lb. Fishing mainly in the margins with worms Steve caught carp to 10lb steadily all match.

The last 2hours proved crucial in this Maver match this qualifier with the larger resident carp on both bridge and moat feeding in the margins for majority of the field. Andy Lakey came out winner with 131lb. Andy fished shallow pellet to start and then turned to the margins feeding corn pellet and groundbait heavily to attract carp to 14lb
