Bridge (19 pegs)
1 M Kilkenny, Oldfield Leeds, 80-4-0; peg isl 20
Mick Kilkenny fished the pole at 12m using soft paste over 4mm feed pellets and landed carp and bream to win today’s match
2 D Whiting, Button Hole AC, 68-4-0; peg isl 5
Dave Whiting fished cat meat and paste on the pole at 7m and landed carp to 8lbs for second spot
3 A Favill, Tuxford,38-6-0; peg out 12
Andy Favill fished chopped worm and caster for a mixed net of carp and silvers to take the close third place
4 L Teigh, Handsworth, 36-4-0; 5 D Clegg, Britannia, 35-7-0; 6 R Dennis, Climax Tackle, 35-2-012.08.10
Daiwa Hallcroft Veterans Summer League (Thursday)
Bridge/Croft (35 pegs)
1 R Holmes, Notts AA, 67-15-0; peg croft 8
In a strange match in which many anglers lost carp to cost them framing weights, Roger Holmes came out the clear winner from Croft peg 8 fishing pellet and corn on the pole at 10m and to the margins late on where he landed carp to 5lbs.
2 P Bagshaw, Maver Barnsley, 35-10-0; peg croft 5
Pete bagshaw edged the battle for the close second spot with a net of small carp and skimmers caught on expander pellet over feed pellet at 12m
3 K Walters, Retford, 33-8-0; peg bridge outer 47
Keith Walter finished third overall with a mixed net of carp and silvers caught on the pole with luncheon meat at 11m
4 A Payling, Peg One, 33-4-0; 5 D Whiting, Button Hole AC, 29-15-0 6 B Sullivan, Maltby, 27-14-013.08.10

Moat Island (18 pegs)
1 A Oldham, Maver Barnsley, 106-4-0; peg 44
Andy Oldham fished meat on the pole at 12m and then switched to the margins with groundbait and corn for some better sized carp to win today with just over the ton mark.
2 J Hobson, Sheffield, 89-4-0; peg 25
Jack Hobson took second place with a nice net of carp and bream all caught using catmeat over feed pellet at 8m on the pole
3 D Whiting, Button Hole AC, 77-13-0; peg 17
The close third place went to Dave Whiting who also caught carp and bream on a short pole line using catmeat and paste over feed pellet
4 R Paterson, Richards Beds, 75-3-0; 5 A Cordall, Bryden AC, 65-8-0; 6 A Sellars, Bankside Tackle, 57-4-014.08.10

Moat Island (20 pegs)
1 J Thomas, Mansfield, 75-4-0; peg 5 (Notts)
Jason Thomas fished a short pole line at 6m using luncheon meat as bait and landed a nice of carp to win this Saturday’s open.
2 S Robbins, MAP Leegem, 70-9-0; peg 2 (Notts)
Steve Robbins to the second spot also fishing a short pole line, but used corn and pellets to catch a nice mixed net of carp and skimmers.
3 A Sellars, Bankside Tackle, 58-6-0; peg 13 (S Yorks)
Andy Sellars switched between fishing the pole with meat and shallow waggler with corn to take the close third spot.

Daiwa Hallcroft Matchwinner Semi Final 2 (Saturday)
Moat Outer/Reed (50 pegs)
1 A Tait, Newcastle Arms AC, 98-0-0; peg Out 54
Alan Tait fished luncheon meat on the pole at 12m to great effect today as he won this second match winner semi final of 2010. Alan finished just short of the ton mark with a nice net of carp to qualify for the final, to be held on the 28th Aug, along with the top 5 anglers and all of the section winners today.
2 G Cooper, Anvil AC, 86-2-0; peg Out 57
Greg Cooper finished in second place overall also with a nice net of carp which were caught on the pole using paste and pellets
3 S Else, Newburgh AC, 78-12-0; peg Out 62
Stuart Else edged the close third place fishing corn over pellets on the pole at 10m
4 L Perrin, Shirebrook AC, 76-8-0 ; 5 M Holmes, Woodseats AC, 48-2-0; D Toyne, Flying Scotsman, 47-9-0
