Help needed Tripp pond messi sands

Realy need bit of info on Tripp pond for this time of year! Baits and what areas to fish. I understand it is very deep in parts of the lake. I have a club match this Sunday and not fished it before and the only info I can find on net seems to be summer matches using paste and fishing in margins, would this still work??

Punchmeat Tripp is a float only pond so we have been told! Thanks dangler seems like that is the method so far.

fished tripp in april weather conditions simular to this weekend forecast , fished peg 7 few small silvers at 2+2 on caster and maggot , 7m in margin meat over pellet for over 50lb crucians

So how did you fish it and from which peg?
What about weights you had and others?
Just in case anyone else is going.
The only part about this lake I don’t like is the fact that someone is fishing opposite on some pegs not all.

I drew on peg 20 in the shallow narrow bay. I had a small reed patch opposite which I set up a light waggler to fish across turned out not to be very productive, I had pole set up around 5 meters with ground bait and pellet had around 30 lb from there before switching to margins but it was very very shallow found paste to be best for stopping foul Hooked fish but still had the odd ones. I finished with 97lb 2nd 88lb 3rd 83lb with 70lb back ups

Thanks Gaz, its a great lake at a great fishery, we fish all our matches there and Tripp used to be our first choice until we caught it off mood a couple of times.

Most of our lads all wanted to fish it again but the prob is getting on it he has his winter league on it I think! Every venue has its off days but that’s fishing it’s what makes us keep going
