Try salt water treatment, very cheap and effective, easy to apply, see http://www.fishdoc.co.uk/treatments/salt.htm

          TF_Nigel.

Bruno Broughton is a well known and respected fiseries managment consultant, and had produced his own imune pellets.
They are perfect for this time of year, or a bit earlier, say around April and May.

Off the top of my head they are around double the price of normal pellets, and with pellets now at £1000 a ton, expect to pay £2000 a ton.

you can get a general antifungas/antibac spray from any koi stockists, i have one in my bag but the label has long gone so dunno what its called?
the sores they have will either be from spawning of maybe from scatching off lice/anchor worm etc, u usually do see them on fish you catch, the problem is that these sores are open to secondary infection if the conditions are bad…

              TF_Nigel.

Just found the price, £40 a bag, £1,600 a ton, but that may not be a currant price, but you can just buy as many bags as you want.

I have used antibiotics on pellets, but you still have to buy the pellets, and the antibiotics, and i had to buy a concrete mixer too.
I put a whole bag in the mixer, added a cup full of fish oil, the added the antibiotics that then stick to the pellet, a lot less messy to buy them direct from Bruno!

I have a Korda carp care kit too, they are very good as you say smed, 2 bottles in the pack, one for the mouth and one for the body, most carp anglers cary them too.

Search ebay/internet for Korda carp care.
