MrFoxmanPreston super pro v roller. Although it’s only 3 legs you can attach buckets etc to the centre of the roller as it has a clip at the bottom. This is to stop the roller blowing over in the wind.

TF_wightanglermosella did a 4 leg flat roller with spare sets of different
length legs 18″,26″ and 30″ (i think) a few years back- very good idea ,imo.
boss roller is quite high but the most stable and longish(82cm).is the new milo flat double roller apparently. -

TF_paulDi bought a big browning flatbed roller last year. just got it out and it goes 85cm high, its 50cm wide and the rollers have roller bearings so the pole flies! the legs splay out over a meter and it haevy so it NEVER falls over! only prob is that its heavy to carry and the rollers are bright orange – but at least walkers dont crash into it. ~clap
Chucked all my tripods away as they were all bleedin useless. iv had preston, browning, map and a milo prince and even that went over a couple of times. 3 legs can never be stable. -

TF_Waveney One2 options to consider
Firstly, and I saw this used for the first time a week ago in strong winds. Use one of those things that screw into the ground and tie the roller to that with some thin rope. As you can tether horses to some them it proves how secure they are. I would suggest the dog size one though available from pet shops and some vets.
Secondly if you already have one, you can make any 4 leg roller as high as you want by using extending rod rests. Take the insert out of the rod rest and put the legs of the roller in instead! Simple. To make it even more secure, use the screw in thing as well.

TF_Chris OwenParticipantI have a Faps 4 leg roller, the legs extend to 150cm.
I dont know if you can still get them now, may be worth looking around though.

London WaspThe new Milo Brooklyn roller is very high in fact that is the problem as I see it you can’t get it low enough. Sounds like it would sort your requirements. It is a very good idea and well constructed yet pricey at £79 RRP.

TF_Mr Whippythanks chaps some great ideas.
The Milo Brooklyn is massive, not sure how I’d transport it! Davies angling have them in stock.
I’d be interested if anyone could measure how high the Daiwa Rocking roller can go as I’ve heard so much good stuff about them.

TF_Waveney OneMr Whippy was found half dead this morning with a flake up his backside, chocolate sauce all over his privates and covered in 100’s and 1000’s.
Police said he had tried to top himself!
My apologies, Mr Whippy, but I couldn’t resist it!
