been fishing hard lately, but will pick up now its getting warmer, its carp on long pole or feeder/bomb, feed a 5m line for skimmers in last few hours, you “may” get one or two down edge last nockings but could be too early..
then again theres a few pegs where you will only catch down edge!
there are some pegs where you will get ide on long pole shallow with caster/maggot but they havent been feeding lately…carp are average 5-6lb (25lber came out last week!) skimmers are worth catching as they can go upto 2lb, same with ide if they feed…some good barbel in there as well
cracking fishery and i think nothing of a 100mile round trip every week to fish it!
usual baits pellet/corn/caster (fishery own pellet)
some lumps have been coming out on mussel!
like everywhere some pegs will dominate…some pegs you cant fish bomb (the pegs with discs on island you can)
im there on sunday fishing the open on ash…
ask george the fishery manager about the peg you draw, hell put you right, top bloke
