I have a festival there next week. If anyone has fished it or has recent info on the place can you pm me or reply to this thread. We are fishing all the three lakes. So any info on all three e.g. depth, target species, best method, bait, features and anything in general that will be useful.

Hi Jon. I’ve recently moved from south Wales to Worcestershire. It’s the only venue I’ve fished in the last year. Match lake pole rigs for big carp on or up to a top 4. Free running method to island is very good.
Carp lake I never got to grips with.. but the winners often won with wag and pellet on the bottom, pellet wag shallow if you have an island fature. Paste on the pole near inside reeds. Again.. there are very big fish in this lake so beware.
Tench lake… all pole work with grey hydro maximum. Although this is supposed to be a crucian and tench lake, the winner always has up to 50% common carp in his net up to 5lb. Bread’s good, paste is good, expander pellet is good but I did well there with worm and caster as close to the lillies as poss. 5-6 foot deep, fishing shallow rarely works on this pool.
          Hope this helps. Mick.
