TF_bluebottleParticipantay up jim back monday can”t wait
last time i was on trotters it was defo cat meat at 11-13m i think i would try pellet feeder up to the island mate and dont forget the margins as they will move in later on .get geared up cos there are some lumps in there. the pegs i mentioned previous are flyers as its a shorter chuck to the island
its just a doughnut shape id say you want to be 1-6 or40-35 as it gets a bit wide in the 30s -

TF_RenarcDon’t know if this is any good to you…about 4 weeks ago I won a club match on Trotters, drew peg 24,paste at 7 mts and cat meat at 13 mts,54lbs,most fish were on the paste, fed the owner’s micro pellets as well, fish upto 7.5 lbs…good luck.

TF_The Ginger magicianpeg 3 had 3 on the method and 7 on the candle the wind was quite bad blowing across and down fed the margin to my left under the tree but never had a bite off it maybe because every half hour someone came for a chat its a nice place
the other match on the lake was won with 70lb in the margins but thats were the wind was blowing upto
once agian thanks for your help all i need now is some pointers on Eye Kettleby lake 3 for next sunday -

TF_kev34You got the whole of lake 3 jym????
Best pegs are the 4 last pegs as you walk down towards the wooden bridge, where the straight finishes chuck a method tight to the ovehanging trees(be prepared to lose a few fish in the roots)but thats where they live.
Loads of crucians/small carp in the 6oz-12oz bracket…
Also them first few pegs along the straight are rubbish so i would deffo leave a few out.
Bait i would take lots of 4-6mm soft expander(feed micros) ,corn but not loads and caster plus some dead red maggots for method.
I would fish out at 8m-12m for most of my fish and chuck the method tight to any tree/farbank vegetation, margin peg will produce lots of small crucians with odd 2lb fish
