Fish either pole between 13 and 14.5 meters with pellet or groundbait as feed and pellet as hookbait if you can keep the bait still that is as it towes like the weaver even when relativley calm so beware! or if you like feeder fishing, fish a med/small open end feeder with normal mix (not fishmeal), fish tail between 12″ and 2.5 ft long with 16 and 18’s hooks with pellet or red maggot on hook. You will find you’ll batter em for a bit then they’ll go off but they are only backing off the bait so cut down on loose offerings, cast round yer bait and ring the hookbait changes. all above usually work with the feeder and normal groundbait being more effective when its hard – pellet feed and hookbait on pole are usually better when skimmers are havin it. fish minimum .13 hooklength as you will no daught hook a carp at some point.
