        Simeone Palli won’t ever know the weight of this magnificent pike because he wanted to return it quickly, but accepted weight for measurement scales place it at well over 50lb.

        The fish measured 118cm long and had a massive 96cm girth, putting the big girl at exactly 52lb – that would be way over the British record if caught from these shores.

        Even more amazingly perhaps, Simeone landed the brute on fly gear, using Scierra tackle.

            Looks fake, the colour of the pike stands out more than the person holding it, look at the tail fin against the blue jeans.
