Hydro

How many top kits does a pack of hydro do. I suspect it may be one. changing from J elastic did not really get on with it. Eight kits to do

I fish mainly commercials such as monks lake, hartleyland, colemans etc what would your suggestions be re grades of elastic of top kits as I said I have eight.

I’ve just done 8 topkits 4 black hydro and 4 grey hydro I find those spot on for my summer fishing I have a couple of kits with preston red and blue for winter and days where I’m skimmer fishing etc that set up suits me- I only get 1 topkit from a pkt of hydro and the 8 lots of hydro were £103 from angling warehouse on ebay – £12.90 pet lot and free delivery. It sounds expensive but it lasts ages

Thanks Anthony. I will do it over the next few months to spread the cost. Going to order Trevor nose cones as well for sections on pole

I got used to fishing hydro and only changed when I got the new pole and was too tight to fork out.

Just to let you know for those who followed my old thread re Matrix seat box . I ended up dealing with matrix in the end who were very good The drawer now opens when I sit on the box and the footplate works fine. had the retailer checked the box as I asked before they sent it this would not have been an issue for the customer i.e. me..

Unfortunately there seems to be a shortage of clip on trays until April.

I like the box, it is still in the front room , all drawers are now filled and now sorting out attachments to fit the larger leg size.
