They are a bit pricey but i am sick of my drennan ones snapping on me time has come for a change i think.

Its the best thing i have ever done, bought a pack of red hydro with a mate £7.50 (replacement catty elastics all about£2) each split the elastic enough to do 3 cattys, the thing to do is get rid of the fluid as the elastic wants to come off all the time, 1 little drop of super glue once you have got as much fluid out does the job quality elastic lasts for ages, also done some with purple hydro, you wont regret it.

I’ve got the Red Hydro one and in my opinion its the worst thing I have ever wasted money on. It’s made in cheap looking plastic, the adjust toggle slips and the pouch is awful as 9 times out of 10 the pellets end up on your foot plate. I’ve gone back to the drennan ones.

Do you mean you hydro’d your Drennan cattys mate?

I filmed Perry Stone using one at Stafford Moor in May. I was amazed at how accurate it was and how far you can fire the pellets compared to my usual Drennan TE and Feederpults.
The pouch looks and feels strange and when I had a go, I sprayed it everywhere, but with work it should get better.
Shame I would only be able afford one though!

If you want to see one, check out this short film: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddU5oin9sg0

I had a hydropult it was the best catapult Ive ever owned but lost it. Spoke to Daiwa rep about getting another one and he said they stopped doing them due to bad publicity on a certain web site forum!!!

Bosh I wasn’t replying to your post but to the original poster who asked about the Hydropult not the just the elastic but the whole catapult by Daiwa.

Selfey, pay for the postage and you can have mine for free. PM me if you want it.

They are brilliant until the plastic pouch swings over your hand and cracks you in the knuckle. Also the pouch doesn’t outlast the elastic which is a pain to change. Don’t buy one, wish i can get my £20 back.

I have the one with Black Hydro. Not one of my best buys for same reasons above.
