The usual bank holiday weather met the anglers & conditions were pretty grim with rain & cold winds, which had followed the torrential overnight rain. Weights were down but Joff Hewitt, fishing maggot took 60.11 , snatching the match from Steve Draper on 57.7. Only 2 lb separated the next 4 places, but Tom Deabill took the honours with 50lb 15, from Paul Dexter on 50.7.
